Manhattan Analog - Discrete SVVCF
Manhattan Analog - Discrete SVVCF - it is a filter with a serious design concept that will not suffer any gain loss and character in any setting. This filter has character that changes depending on how you modulate it!
The Manhattan Analog - Discrete SVVCF started life as the SVF design (based on the J. Haible discrete 2040 gain cell) which Scott Stites posted over at electro-music.
The manufacturer had been wanting to work with another filter for a while and this one looked interesting, so hestarted playing with it. He lopped off the audio input section and grafted on the CP3 mixer (motto: "moar transistors!"). It's definitely interesting! A very thick, rich-sounding filter with a lot of different personalities depending on how hard you drive the inputs.
