soundmachines - UL1uloop
The soundmachines - UL1uloop is something you can call a micro-sampler or micro-looper. The CV integration is what makes this sampler play a crucial role in any one of your patches! The audio brings back the genre-defining era of lo-fi samplers!
soundmachines - UL1uloop - micro Looper
I think you refer to the UL1uloop.
The latter is the mini sampler/looper and it has an AUDIO in and a REC trigger input or button. It can sample audio stuff (no CV, it is AC coupled) and reproduce (PLAY/LOOP, either button on trig inputs) it varying (either via CV or potentiometer) the sampling frequency. What do you mean by overdub? When recording it will not 'add' the new audio to the stuff inside but it will overwrite it...
Sample length is 64 seconds at 4khz.
The simplicity of the module match with the audio and sync performance of the technology used. The sampling is low-fi (but good, in my opinion) and the REC syncronization is not really accurate but the module is FUN and particularly useful in ambient/noise/wtf compositions
