The Eowave - Centre de Controle is one of a kind: it is a MIDI-CV interface with duophonic and sequencer modes, plus it doubles up as a power supply as well!

Duophonic MIDI to CV/Clock, plus 600mA power inlet

The MIDI interface from the Centre de Contrôle offers 4 play modes :

NORMAL (T1 – CC1 – P1 – CC4)

DUOPHONIQUE (T1 – T2 – P1 – P2)

HORLOGE (CLOCK)(T1 – START/STOP – P1 – CLOCK)

SÉQUENCEUR (T1 – START/STOP – P1 – CLOCK)

The choice of the modes is done by pressing on the black switch.

The LED will blink from 1 time to 4 times to indicate the mode position. Other settings are available with continuous controllers sent via MIDI.

MODE 1 : monophonique

1. notes on TENSION 1 (T1)

2. gates on PORTE 1 (P1)

3. modulation (CC1) and velocity on T2

4. footcontrol (CC4) on P2

The pitch-bend is added to notes pitches on T1.

MODE 2 : duophonique

1. first note on TENSION 1 (T1)

2. fist gate on PORTE 1 (P1)

3. second note on TENSION 2 (T2)

4. second gate on PORTE 2 (P2)

The pitch-bend is added to notes pitches on T1 & T2

If only one note is played T2=T1 ; P2 is not played.

MODE 3 : MIDI clock

1. notes on TENSION 1 (T1)

2. gates on PORTE 1 (P1)

3. start/stop on T2

4. MIDI clock on P2

MODE 4 : sequencer

1. notes on TENSION 1 (T1)

2. gates on PORTE 1 (P1)

3. start/stop on T2

4. MIDI on P2

> tech specs

The sequencer has 16 steps. Each step can be muted. The number of steps is variable.

(CC68) starts the internal sequencer clock. (Do not use with the MIDI clock)(Only Works in mode 4)

(CC69) speed of the sequencer internal clock : from fast to slow (Only works in mode 4).

(CC70) Division of the internal clock or of the MIDI clock (1,3, 6, 12, 24, 32, 48, 96)

(CC9-24) control of the pitch of the sequencer steps (64 pitches)

- value 0, the step is not played.

- value 127, reset the sequencer

Choice of the MIDI channel:

Click on the swith while powering the unit. The next note played with give the new MIDI channel.

External controls :

(CC64) Mode choice : 1,2,3 et 4 (monophonique, duophonique, horloge, séquenceur.)

(CC65) Glide type (Without, Always, Only on linked notes )

(CC66) glide speed from slow to fast

(CC67) Trig , (simple /multiple) « gates » are not retriggered on linked notes

(CC68) starts the internal clock of the sequencer (Do not use with the MIDI clock) (Only Works in mode 4)

(CC69) speed of the internal clock of the sequencer from fast to slow (Works only in mode 4)

(CC70) Division of the internal clock or of the MIDI clock (1,3, 6, 12, 24, 32, 48, 96)

(CC71) Pitch-bend range : pitch-bend from ½ ton

(CC72) (ON/OFF) The velocity is transmitted on the CV output 2 (Mode 1 only)

Save parameters

To save parameters, click and hold the button until it blinks a dozen times. (note that you cannot save the sequencer parameters).

(CC9-24) control of the pitch of the sequencer steps (64 pitches)

- value 0, the step is not played,

- value 127, reset of the sequencer

Source d’énergie -- Powering

Only use a 12V power supply (with 2.1mm connector) with + at the center and a power from 1 to 3 A, depending on the number of modules you want to use. The power supply can generate a power up to 600mA of négative voltage. To have the same amount of positive voltage, you need at least 1,5 A minimum powering. This setting allows to power one row of 10 modules at eurorack format).

Format : eurorack 8 HP
